Description of Class: The perfect Mothers' Day gift for moms, grandmas, and moms-to-be! Birth art combines art with intuition to prepare for childbirth, parenting, and a lifetime of motherhood. Tailored exercises allow you to access the part of your brain you will need to use when you are in labor, and gets to the images and feelings you have in your subconscious mind about giving birth and parenting. The discussion allows you to find solutions for any issues that may come up during the art making process.
This class benefits those that are pregnant, or are new or seasoned parents. We have even done this process with grandparents! We will have a guided meditation to slow you down and connect with the present moment. I will lead you through an art assignment, which you can’t get wrong! It’s all about the process and about what you gain from making the art. We will then transition to journal to reflect on the process of making the art.
There will be time to discuss anything you feel led to discuss. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and a certified childbirth educator. I’m here to help to guide you to give birth and parent the best way you can!

About the Instructor: I am a certified birth and postpartum doula and a childbirth educator. It is a calling for me to guide families during the birthing years and through their parenting journeys using art.
