Wow!  The original session filled so fast, Maryann generously agreed to teach another session the following day!

Learn the basics of working with several types of sheep’s wool to create your choice of project: your own unique bird’s nest and eggs - a fun easy project for needle felt beginners and anyone who is looking forward to springtime! OR several one-of-a-kind toys that your favorite kitties are sure to love. Catnip fill optional but will be provided :)

Age range of student:  10 years and up

Materials:  

$25 materials fee payable to instructor includes basic needle felting tools and will be yours to keep: small mat, two needles, materials needed for this project. Locally sourced wool provided whenever possible.

NOTE: if you purchase the basic tools you can use them for the other workshops also.

Basic supplies are included in the supplies package, but feel free to bring along any special little bits that you might like to see in your nest - interesting little twigs, feathers, ribbon, lichen, moss etc. 

About the Instructor:

Maryanne loves working with fiber of all types and in multiple modes, especially wool from her own animals. She is the proprietor of Harpers Fairies, and enjoys teaching and helping others expand their creativity
